Chairman: Greg Beck
Senior Vice President, Grain Division
CGB Enterprises
Covington, La.

After graduating from Purdue, Greg’s career began as a barge fleet dispatcher in Cincinnati. From his beginning in marine transportation, new duties were learned in truck dispatch and bulk terminal operations.  After that initial experience in logistics and transportation he began to originate grain from producers which led to trading commodities among the various transportation modes of truck, rail and barge. In addition to trading in 1987 he then began to manage facilities, smaller to larger, which led to general management for 2 of the 5 grain division’s regions.

In July 2002 he assumed the role of Vice President of the Grain Division and became an officer for CGB Enterprises, Inc.  Today he is Senior Vice President and responsible for all grain related operations which include personnel, trading, risk management, identity preserved grains, plant operations, grain origination, mergers/acquisitions as well as the financial performance of the division.

Throughout his career he has served on and/or chaired or co-chaired different committees both inside and outside CGB.  He has served on the National Grain and Feed’s (NGFA) Country Elevator Committee, the NGFA Foundation, the Long Range Planning Task Force and the Executive Committee.  Outside the industry he serves as President of the Gulf South BMW Owners Club and sits on the board of Grace Adventures.
